UFC 2010 DEMO OUT TODAY, BUT DONT GET TOO EXCITED

I recently jumped into the UFC undisputed 2010 demo, and frankly, I'm quite disappointed. It seems choppy and not as good as 2009. The only thing redeeming right now is that it does seem to still be in the production phase and not a test of the final product. If you dont believe me, try it out yourself. It is out on XBOX LIVE and i believe PSN.

HALO REACH BETA FIRST LOOK and IMPRESSIONS

Today the HALO REACH BETA launched, and was open to anyone with a copy of halo ODST. Of course, i downloaded it as soon as i got home. After a bulky 1 gigabite download, i started up the beta. The first things i notice are that 190,000 people are online...DAMN! That's a lot. The next thing i noticed is a message saying that the servers are unavailable and to please try again later... DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT! But not to worry this message soon goes away, and i jump into my first match. The first thing i notice is the improved graphics. Everything looks GORGEOUS. Next i start running around, find a couple of new weapons, and get my first couple of kills. By the way, the new weapons are STELLAR. So are the new armor abilities, which in simpler terms, are sprint, camouflage, JET PACK, and armor lock (which is indestructibility for about 5 seconds). So far my favorite is armor lock, and it saves my life more than a few times. I try a couple of other game modes, and i.am.having. FUN. This beta is the perfect mix of competitive play, weapon balancing, fun modes, and great new features. Trust me, you wont miss the battle rifle or carbine. They pale in comparison to the new DMR and Needle Rifle. By this time i also get my first assassination. Oh yea, i rolled up behind that guy and shanked him right in the gut. Definitely one of the best new features. The only problem i had was a typical one. In traditional beta fashion, the servers crashed a couple of times. This was probably due to the fact that towards the end of my playing there were around 310,000 players online... on just the FIRST day. I will continue playing and trying out the maps and modes they add, and of course talk about them to you. After that crap ODST, this i the game we've been waiting for.

APB (ALL POINTS BULLETIN) COVERAGE

APB will soon be upon us and not many people know much about. So here's the scoop. APB is going to redefine the MMO genre. 1oo people to a city. 100,000 people to a world. But here's what really makes it. Its a third person action shooter similar to grand theft auto IV. Each city stages an ongoing war between two overall factions, the cops an' robbers. You choose your side, customize your character, customize your ride, start doing missions, level up, and even form gangs. There's way to much for me to explain so I've posted some links that will give more in depth look. Right now, APB is scheduled for a june 29 release for PC, and may be released for XBOX 360 later on.

ATTENTION HALO FANS

If you haven't already heard the Halo REACH BETA will be dropping May 3rd.
Here's the scoop on how to get in.
Step 1: You must have or go get a copy of Halo ODST
Step 2: Click on the new menu tab on the ODST disc menu in order to download the BETA.
Step 3: ENJOY!

IMPORTANT NOTICES: The ODST disc MUST BE INSIDE YOUR SYSTEM in order to play the BETA. You CANNOT just rent it, download the beta, and return it again. Also, you did NOT have to pre-order the game in order to access the beta. that was just a scam.

GTA IV: LETS GET TRICKY!

If you haven't noticed (in which case your blind) Liberty city is scattered with ramps and little shortcuts. these serve two purposes. Do some sick A** tricks, and get away from cops. Lets say you decided out of impulse to pop a granny or two, unaware of that lurking cop behind you. Now you have a couple of stars. Steal a car and start driving. Sooner or later you will find a ramp or shortcut. Hit it and your home free. Its a great way to loose cops. Also remember, taking skinny alley ways or stairs on foot is just as good for escaping. Now, back to the tricks. If your kinda bored or on freemode, head over to the airport for some great ramps, helicopters, and cars.

Do suffer from sucking a** at UNCHARTED 2? Do you run into that unseen grenade every time you try and chase someone down? THEN THIS PERTAINS TO YOU. DO NOT, NO MATER HOWWW TEMPTING, RUN AFTER PEOPLE. THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE A GUN DIPSH*T. Just shoot them in the back of the head. Case CLOSED. Let them blow them selves up with that annoying grenade they drop.
